If the gov't spends $500 per abortion (just a guestimate) and instead of paying that they paid for a pack of condoms and gave the rest of the $$$ to the taxpayers, how much $$$ would you receive?

Nothing, really. You lose big time if you use money on the abortion issue.
A hospital birth costs around five THOUSAND dollars, plus welfare for the kid and the mother while she's taking care of it. Lets be conservative and say the state gives the mother $100 a month in food stamps or welfare and health care, or even just uses that for infrastructure and administration to rape the father out of half his income every year.
So $26,000 for every kid thats not aborted and lives to 18; not counting the costs of public schooling.

I really am behind times--but who does the government pay $500 to for an abortion????? I always thought that the pregnant female had to pay for it. Unless it is considered a medical emergency and then the insurance would pay for it. Whatever. Maybe you know more about this than I do.

Well, firtst off this savings you speak of is never going to happen so it's a false arguement.
But we caan say for certainty that the money the baby would cost to the taxpayer would be much more if he is born and goes on welfare, in prison, or other goverment programs wich unwanted children have a proclivity for going on.

I dont know where you got a figure of 500 bucks because you can get an abortion for 250 bucks at a clinic down town in Roanoke.

Lol abstinence...haven't we tried that for like 3000 years or so??? Since there is such a thing as contraception...why don't we encourage it. People will have sex even if you brain washed them with abstenence. It's called instinct.
