I read in the newspaper the other day that baseball cards have gone down hill. This is due to more new card producers and flooding the market with all kinds of platinum cards, special cards, etc. Instead of having 6 or 7 card companies, now there are like 40+.

You couldn't have asked a more VAGUE question... there are literally millions of different baseball card that have been produced over the years.

If you really want to find out their values, you can go to www.beckett.com and they will let you try the site for free. If you spend like $10, you can have access for a month.

Or you can find a price guide, but often the current Beckett guides only have the most recent cards produced. If you have older cards or inserts and specials that you'd like priced, then a yearly price guide that lists all cards made (it will be pretty thick) can help you out. Beckett makes one or try Krause publications as they sell a variety of guides of this type.

If you really need some personal help, find the nearest sports card/collectibles shop in your area and talk to an expert there. They will be happy to help you out (especially if it means some business for them!). Good Luck!

Check Beckett price guide which lists the value of cards, and you shall find out. Beckett is available in card shops as well as grocery and retail stores in the magazine section.

Your cards are worth approx. $500,000; you should sell them and retire.

Seriously: go out and buy a Beckett's Guide or some other price guide.
