Well, in real life ninjas were nothing like the media makes them look. they were just spies who had to get information from enemies or civilians. they had no weapons for killing but just for defense and tools to conceal themselves with. the also weren't skilled warriors. that is the samurai, they are the real soldiers with military training and experience also some people say that samurai were bound by the law of Bushido but a samurai could take of your head...just because.as long as he had an excuse, usually you were being rude. also people who think ninjas know kung-fu and other nun-jutso, they are wrong because kung-fu originated from china while ninja and samurai come from japan. also shuriken ain't lethal and so can't kill you, "just like that".also kunai was in fact a gardening tool, and these "weapons" were used to "defend themselves from the samurai". also there is no proof that ninjas actually wore black cloths. they were like modern spies and so dressed like ordinary people. as for the thing about ninjas sneaking up on a samurai...a samurai could just take the head off anyone he thinks is suspicious or a threat. ninja also can't sneak up on a samurai when his sleeping because , besides the standard katana all samurai carried a shorter wakizashi which they carried everywhere and even slept with them under their pillows. and so the only way a ninja can win against a samurai is if there are alot of ninja and one samurai.

A samurai would win because they were trained in jiu jitsu until they mastered all the techniques and the art they also trained in archery, swordsmanship, handleing a spear, and yuwara it was also a little known fact that samurai did use guns. Any armour is hard to pierce with a two handed weapon not to mention a one handed weapon. If the katana could cut through a pig it cant deffinately cut a ninja in half. the shuriken could not actually kill people its a wounding weapon and again armour. The only person who could kill a samurai is another samurai. The movies exaggerated the ninja to an extreme like kill bill with the katana ninja were not that spectacular.

A samurai because a samurai is more situated (and knows more) with the Martial Arts more than a Ninja (or so I've heard from reading the Japanese Anime/Manga books).

A ninja would win. Samurai's are bound by an ethical code. Ninjas for the most part are about stealth kills. A samurai would have found it dishonorable to kill someone with their backs turned. Simply put. A ninja isn't bound to a fair fight.

Well for me, I will go for the samurai's 'coz they are calm and disciplined and of course they are using swords as for ninja's they're just fighting with their very own hands and of course samurai's are good at dodging.

well a ninja of course i mean samurais r kool but all they do is fight with a sword which to me is very boring.

Ninja...bcoz unlike samurai, they don't fight with honor and they're able to attack from far away.
