Plastics are usually created from petroleum, a non-renuable resource. However, they -can- be made, with increasing effort and decreasing effectiveness, from many other organic (and renewable) materials. Yes, it is recyclable.

Is Plastic A Renewable Resource

Would depend on the forest type, and forest management practices. If managed properly (sustainably) it is a renewable resource. Most production/commercial based forests require at max 40 to 60 years to reach a commercial size. Appropriate management should ensure that adequate time is allowed for regeneration, mature trees are retained (either within the coup or surrounding) etc etc etc ... thus renewing the resource and also allowing the forest to continue operating as a functioning ecosystem.
