ok, at my college we heard news on tv that there was a possible kidnapping...here's how it supposedly happened...a girl was walking outside, and there are parking lots for visitors, well i guess she was standing near it, and she heard a muffled noise saying help help, and there was some knocking, and that happened in the morning, and i guess she saw the guy walking and went to the car and drove off, here's what i think is about this, first of all why would the guy leave a kidnapped chick in the "trunk" or wherever by herself, didn't he know that students or people are gonna walk past the car and maybe hear a noise and call the police?...and what the hell was he doing at college, oh and the chick said there was no license on his car, and she didn't even bother to get closer to the car and maybe offer a help i guess the girl didn't have a cell phone to call the police and she had to go inside, and when she called, she got out and the car was gone

Anything is possible these days. If the story is real it is believable that a guy would kidnap someone, put them in the trunk and then stop at such a public place. There are programs on cable TV, which show just how stupid criminals and other people are, and every time I watch it and thought I had seen nobody could be any dumber they manage to find someone who sets a new level of stupidity.

It's a good thing they are stupid too, because it just makes it easier for the police to catch them

Ok, you got all this from the news station? Have you tried to contact the station directly for more information? I would have, especially when it concerns campus safety. After talking to the news station, again I would have contacted the campus security and talked to them about the validity of the story. Usually there are updates and more information to flesh out what the facts are.
You are right about your questions, however, IMHO, with the times we live in now a person has to watch out for themselves. The girl that heard something fishy did the right thing in contacting campus security instead of investigating for herself. She could have very well ended up a victim too.
As for why a criminal does anything, only the criminal knows what is going through their brains. Who knows why teens are shooting up the schools. There is no reasonable explanation even if someone attempts to quantify insane actions. As for not having a cell phone, I don't have one either.
Not having a license plate on the car, that is easily explained. In many states it is not required to have a license plate on the front bumper. The rear bumper yes, but front is optional. Personally, I do not, as a rule, memorize every license plate in a parking lot. Only those with vanity plates stick in my head and not usually for a very long time.
Ever play the game where you and a group of friends are sitting around and one person is "it"? The "it" person has 30 secs. to memorize a picture. The each of the others ask questions of the "it" person. Questions like " what color is the dress, who is wearing the necklace, how many have short hair", etc. It's not as easy as you think. Try it sometime with your friends and see how many you get correct. The same principal happens with witnesses to crimes. If five questions are asked of the "it" person, that person is lucky if they get only three correct. ;)
And that's my opinion.

People react to different things in different ways. I would have gone over and helped the girl in the trunk or at least gotten the lecense plate number and it sounds like you would do the same. But you have to admit it might have come as a shock for the girl who heard the noise so she may have just been stunned. Other than that, with your other questions like why at a college, I honestly couldn't tell you, I'm not a kidnapper so Im guessing he thought of some reason that seemed logical to him. Thats all I got but I wouldnt think to much about it, Its in the past and the kidnapper is not to smart.

well supposedly it is so they end up not having to hear them. most people would think it may be a bet or something else because they don't care but my question is how in the hell did the guy get the grl in the first place. the car may have been gone she still can identify it right well pendeja better do more. or whom ever was in there assuming it was a grl is going to be kept captive like that one grl who was with that guy for 8 yrs kept her in a Small room and made her believe her parents didn't care and never looked for her. she was ten and finally located only 10 miles from her home. she is now in psychological therapy.
or found dead
usually kidnappings either end up in rape murder mental physical damage.
life is full of mysteries
