What superstitious things do people make wishes on? I've got a couple.. blow out birthday candles..wishbones... any others?

When the clock shows your b-day (Mine is Nov 18, so 11:18 on the clock)

When the dandalions are fuzzy and you can blow the seeds off of them, I've always wished on those and if you can blow all the leaves off in one breath you're supposed to get you wish. Also, those fluffy things that are in the air during spring that look like the dandalion fuzzies but they are bigger and are shaped in a ball-they're from trees, I live in WI so I don't know if you have them where you're from, but I wish on those too.

buddah, when the clock says 9 11 you wish for the war to be over soon, the first star you see at night you sing a song that goes ((star light, star bright, 1st star i see 2nite, i wish i may, i wish i mite get the wish i wish tonight)) pennys with heads up and wen you throw a coin in a fountain

when ever the clock reads 11:11....wish for world peace....or a pop tart... so far I have not gotten either..
