We were in the park feeding the ducks when I saw something weird in the water....I waded out to mid calf & saw that it was a turtle with a TON of fishing line around all of it's limbs & a Wal-mart bag & stick attached too!!
I cut the wal-mart bag & stick off & got most of the fishing line off....BUT there was some tangled REALLY tightly around his neck so I took him to the game & fish comission & they cut it off & gave him a check up.....I took him back to the park & let him go & my friend said I was too sweet & Asked me why I cared about the turtle.....Am I too sweet???

You have a good heart - that's what it means. If you save a turtle, you will save a bird, a dog ... any animal, you wiill never hurt a human.

I would have done the exact same thing!!! There is no such thing as being too sweet. Not many people would do what you did, and you are a wonderful person for doing it. I am told that I'm "too sweet" all the time because I can never turn my back on an innocent creature in need, even if it's just a bug! I came across a bug a few days ago that had spider web wrapped on its legs and it couldn't walk, so I got the web off of it and it scurried away.

All living creatures deserve compassion, no matter how small it may be. :) You did a good thing.

Are you kidding? No way are you too sweet. The game and fish comission should be giving you an outstanding citizen award! You ARE AN AWESOME person! That turtle is probably thanking his guardian angel right now!
If everyone cared as much as you, this would be a truly beautiful world! God Bless and keep being "too sweet!"

No!

Tell her to go to hell. That might change her opinion. No, only kidding.

I think you did a fantastic thing. There should be more people in the world like you. Everyone should care a little bit more, instead of being all jaded (like that's so cool). Instead, we're all too lazy to give a rats a*se about anyone but ourselves. It makes me sad really.

properly, i'm due in August (with my first) and that i need to allow you to understand i'm truly placing out to teach. fairly some individuals are commenting and asking even as i'm due and that i have in elementary words received 5lbs subsequently far. that's amazingly likely at this level that she will be in a position to be placing out to seem pregnant quickly if no longer now. in case you pal is pregnant she should be in search of prenatal care, i'd commence there. Ask her about her prenatal care, furnish to bypass with her if she does no longer have a extra physically powerful 1/2 or friend that robotically is going with her. If she has been having ordinary prenatal care, regularly there's a minimum of one ultrasound performed between 16-22 weeks (searching on the position you're placed), if she has had this performed - ask to work out the ultrasound photos. some friends have requested to work out mine :) In her protection (if she quite is pregnant), a lot of human beings i understand are unaware of my pregnant state. My nuclear relations does no longer learn about our coming near near addition, neither does my perfect pal (whom i have not considered because Jan). She might want to have in simple terms been waiting for a great time to allow you to understand.

You really care about animals which isn't a bad thing you just have to be careful about what kind of animal you are tring to help. If you try to take care of anything stray it could bite you and you could get a bad disease. Also if you try to help a dangerous animal it could hurt you so watch out for stray or mean animals!
