it takes their minds away from life troubles and burdens, they are like searching for the victory that they dont have in life.
also it makes us united, like what happened in the 2006 african cup of nations, people went crazy.
it was the best time of my life going to the stadium to watch these matches, i felt my love doubled for egypt and the egyptians.

because it is nearly was the only sports during the english times in egypt and egyptian learn it from them and because there were nearly no kind of sports (specialy football cost not so much money), so it became very famous sport..
