I wonder if Cindy Sheehan is leading the pack ?That's the very same liberal mentality that runs our country down while giving aid & comfort ot the enemy-while our troops are dodging bullets . Shocking ; and it's got to stop .

I'm glad someone brought this up. I would have showed up, if the access to these funerals wasn't so restricted. And there was no way that anyone uninvited was getting anywhere close. I live not even 15 miles from village where this happened. The answer it's ok because the Amish will forgive them is hopefully someone's idea of a bad taste joke. It's far from ok, these people just want to have privacy and peace to bury their children and try to comfort one another. Their ability to forgive the shooter, and trying to comfort his wife and children should be commended, not mocked. They have embraced figuritively and literally the shooters family, asking for donations and support for them. They reconize that they are also in their own kind of hell right now. Can you even begin to imagine what they are going to have to live with for the rest of their lives?
What I hate the most beyond the obvious, is that Phelps sisters and their"church" claim to be Christian. They practice and preach things that are the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what Christianity stands for. It's like the KKK saying they burn crosses because their Christians, please!!!!
Did you know that a reporter tried to sneak into the funeral? She dressed in what she thought the Amish wear, and tried to get in to take pictures!!! How low is that!!
The only reason reporters were so desperate to get in was beacause they view the Amish so kind of freak show to gawk at. They are regular human beings who live the way they feel is the right life to live.
I have many, many family members that are Amish and Mennonite, they are like everyone else, they feel pain and grief, and rage. Their faith in God will pull them through this, you never get over it, you learn to live around it. Their sense of community is something that the rest of the world could learn from.
Please do as the Amish leaders have asked, people of ALL FAITHS, please pray for the children, their familes and community, and also the Robert's family. Please don't forget about the police, firefighters, and Emergency Medical workers, they have also been through a tramatic event.

Its disgusting thing to do. Protesting at funerals is so low. Leave the people alone in their grief. I did hear those weirdos are not going to protest at the Amish Funerals.

i did not listen this and that i do not realize what is going on in the minds of people who might want to favor to protest the funeral of all and sundry and particularly that of a newborn. what is going on in our society. i visit capture the files in simple terms to work out what that is all about. How very unhappy, those households have already been through a horribly tragic journey. i ask your self what's inaccurate with the minds of grown those who might want to call little females whores, they have some truly intense topics and that i believe God will shake them up and take care of them. The Amish community is an exceedingly quiet self sufficient community of people who do no longer difficulty all and sundry or attempt to reason damage to all and sundry. that is so nerve-racking it makes me sense very ill. those are some ill those who for sure have forgotten that God will choose all individuals, and they call themselves Christians staggering.

While I think what they do is the most heartless thing that anyone could ever do to grieving families,No,I wouldn't show up to protest them, only because I wouldn't want to cause anymore pain for the families. They do not represent true Christians. With people like this claiming to be Christians,no wonder non believers think we are all crazy.

"How low can citizens get to protest funerals?" That should have been your question. Actually a good way to word it would be, "Can you name anything lower than protesting a funeral?"

There was just something on "The O'Reilly Factor" about them. They are just weird, ugly skanks. There is about 25 of them in their little sect and have the same mantra as all religious fanatics, everybody will go to hell except them. They are just wieeeeerd.
