It is a good processor that is supposed to be a good overclocker; but it is an Intel processor from an era when AMD processors were much better than Intel. The intel's run much hotter and don't game as well.

It is relatively inexpensive compared to a Core 2 Duo, but if I wanted to save money on a gaming machine I would go with an AMD Athlon 64 X2.

your need to research the core. intel processors are expected to bring out a quad core around feb/mar 07 and the prices of the duo core are expected to fall around jan 07.

i like amd though

why not type the processor?

Its good, as long as it has dual core it runs games great.(I have 3.2ghz intel runs great, uner $200 :D)

Nope... if you are gamer you need AMD but its cost little more then other processors.
