of course they did. All of the monkey family have belly buttons, humans come from the monkey family. So just because Adam and Eve were 'the first humans' doesn't mean that they came out of thin air.

I don't think they had belly-buttons either. But that could lead to a very interesting possiblity, that maybe we grew from a molecule or 'gene' that evolved in ocean water, since we cannot live without salt. But, before the creationists have a cow, that still does not rule out GOD creating them. He just may have created them in a different environment than what they are used to. After all, GOD'S ways are not man's ways....

As they were not conceived in the fashion that we are, but rather created by God, there would be no reason for them to have a belly button. They did not grow in a womb nourished by an umbilical cord which is what a belly button is all about. Answer is no.

I suppose so.. What if cain and Able asked them what is this and pointed to ther belly button? What would Adam and Eve say? umm..i think it's a hole in your tummy so you don't get too fat eating food...

Ha ha. No, since there was no umbilical cord, why would they? If you believe in such things, it would seem that god just went "abra cadabara, you exist." Of course, it you really want to get ridiculous about it, since god purportedly made man in his image, I guess God would have a belly button too. Dumber and dumberer.

Seeing as the first humans (Homo Sapiens) evolved from ape like ancestors, they would've been mammals, so they would've had "belly buttons" where the umbilical chord attached.

I think so. That would also be how belly buttons would have been started.

honestly, that is a very funny but good question..I wouldn't think so just because they never had to use the umbilical cord..but hey who knows...when you get to heaven ask them ;) god bless and that was a really cute question lol
