My sister has just entered grade nine this year, and all her life, her general school experience has been difficult and vicious. I'm in grade 11, and have no idea how to help her out. Our family has been investigating schooling over the internet. How do we go about getting information for these kinds of programs? She is of average academic status; and so far our family is unsure of how to find out about things like this. Any help is appreciated.

To the ignorant b*tch at the bottom, she's more mature at 14 than I am at almost 17. She's attempted to deal with it for the last 9 years and it just doesn't end. See, people like you wouldn't understand, unless it hit close to home. So I suggest you grow up, and open your mind you nieve piece of sh*t.

I had the same problem throughout high school. Somehow I managed to graduate. I'm not sure about any online schooling. You'd probably have to discuss that with someone from the school (even though they're useless for the most part). Usually schools have individual programs for taking classes online. Another option is homeschooling, if your parents are up to it.

Good luck.

Home schooling is available almost anywhere in the country and I am sure you can find out about it online or in the phone book. Check out "schools.edu.".But,remember, being in public schools helps increase social abilities. There is also the choice of private or pay as you go schools. Grade 9 is tough, I don't know what area you are in. Is there a possibility she can go to a neighboring school? Tell her "Be strong, stand straight, hold your head up, and visualize everyone in their underware."

I would see if there was an alternative high school, I did high school where I homeschooled myself and met with a teacher once a week to go over my work. Call the school district.

Just do a search for online high school programs or have your parents look into homeschooling.
