This is a great description. Do not buy: Jewelry, high heels, multiple purses to go with your outfits, froo-froo, insane colors, or the latest goofy patterns Do buy: well-fitting clothes, a couple pairs of flats you like and basics Stick with shirts and sweaters, not tee-shirts. Open neck light-colored shirts and vee-neck sweaters look great with a nice sun glow. You are going to wear jeans - make sure they fit you comfortably but no sagging. It's important you don't try to hide in your clothes. And maybe add a khaki or navy skirt. You are changing your style, but that's not the same thing as swinging from one end of a spectrum to the other. Basics always look good. Get them and grow your style from there. Buy a pull-on dress you love for dates and dances. This you change up with jewelry, so get a couple of long necklaces and inexpensive belts to jazz it up. Last, and most important. Buy *great* support garments. Do this first. When your lingerie fits everything looks better. Smile which makes anyone 100% more attractive. And enjoy your shopping trip.

Wear anything dressy that isn't a formal. Really, the rule of thumb is that short dresses and/or skirts are good, and well as maybe a slightly longer skirt if you're wearing a skimpier top. If it's short, you're good, honestly. If it's long, its probably inappropriate. Don't wear pants, their tacky, even if their dressy.

Definately no jeans and no prom type dresses. I think a nice dress or pantsuit would look good with heels. You want to look nice but not over the top. Nothing flashy either.

lol this sounds dumb, but try skirts??? yeah i would suggest a pink lace cami or halter top with a white skirt or pants. Pink sash throught the belt loop.
Try out this outfit.
Shirt with hot ruffles at the end of the sleeves.
Frilly - layer knee length skirt. (hard to describe like a regular cotton skirt with ruffles or frills all around the skirt every couple of inches or so. IF YOU DONT GET THIS SORRY! lol)
Also, there is this really cute polka dot dress i saw....in this site:

yes i know you said no dresses but I dont think this dress is too formal to wear to homecoming.
Also try a halter top dress, its not too formal
more dresses that i think arent too formal
