I don't know... it depends on what it is in the strawberry that your friend is allergic to...
The juice? The seeds? The whole thing?
For example, my father could eat mangos, but he was very allergic to the sap from the mango tree. So if the mango's skin had sap on it and he touched it, he would have an reaction. But if the mango was cleaned (and sap free), he was fine...
Maybe your friend is only allergic to strawberries... period.
Or it is possible that your friend might be allergic to anything like a strawberry... or in that family... which includes roses, blackberries, raspberries...

You never know. That may be her/his only allergy ever. But I would be carefull with any type of berry. Some have the same components but strawberries tend to be a pretty popular allergy.

I thought strawberry had citric acid in part of it. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe other berries.
