cats produce a oil that lets them handle extreme heat, here as dogs have fur which make them better suited for colder climates.

I believe they can both adapt to different temperature extremes. Siberian huskies do great in colder environments. Russia has cat breeds that do extremely well in the cold. Something makes me think that cats would do better on the extreme heat side, though. They're very good at conserving their energy, what some call being lazy.

dogs huskies are used to living in minus 40 degrees so i would say dogs
