ago, I had a rough half hour session of lapdances at a gentlemen's club. I noticed a tear like feeling along the side of my penis. This thankfully went away after a few days, but since then, an area of my member feels sensitive and chafed. I did see a urologist.. I didn't catch anything or show any signs of bruises..he pretty much summed it up as an abrasion.. he told me to apply Bacitracin twice daily for 3 weeks.. I admittedly stopped applying it after a week because I frankly felt no improvement. Is there another way more effective ointment you recommend? Thanks. I appreciate your feedback.

Apart from the medicine to be applied to a bruised part, the part should also receive rest. If you continue with lapdances, then the healing will be delayed. Stay back at home and try to use a gown and do away with the undergarment until healing is complete.

You stopped applying after a week when the prescribed time for application was 21 days? This is a little like those who take antibiotics and stop short of the prescribed dosage. They are prescribed for a certain dosage over a given period for a reason; to totally eliminate the infection. Because you feel the medication isn't working, or alternatively, that it has done its job means nothing. The complaint may appear to have gone, but it probably hasn't. There could well be traces of the bacteria still present which can reactivate. Please have this checked again and ask the doctor to re-prescribe.
