You're smart doing a party after Halloween. You'll be able to get Halloween decorations on clearance.
Food ideas: Mulled Apple Cider is perfect for this time of year. Deviled Eggs with olives in the center for creepy eyeballs. If you are of legal drinking age, there is Vampire wine. You might be able to get this for $7 - 10 a bottle. I think I'm going to make Rosemary Pork with a garlic sauce over it and call it Vampire Repellant.
Movies:
Slither comes out on DVD October 24. It's a campy horror movie - definately more funny than scary.
Games:
1.) Bobbing for olives in Martinis
2.) Pumpkin Golf - The object of this game is to putt the ball into a hole in a pumpkin.

Scary movies.. durh hurh.. maybe some classics and some new ones to mix it up. Orange and Black Food!, use your imagination.. any bakery can make adorable halloween themed goods. play scary games, stuff in the dark and things like that. =]
