I assume you are talking about sikhs. in fact they are one of the most passive religions around. I'd rather be alone with a sikh man in full regalia, than with a muslim man in just his underwear.

A cross is definetly a symbol of christianity but its not a weapon so your question doesnt seem to go anywhere. But if they happened to sharpen one end into a shiv then no they shouldnt be allowed to have it. the U.S. supreme court says that children do have the right of free speech even at school and can wear or carry religious items in school. But they do use common sense you cant put a religious item on a shotgun and call it your bible

Of course it should be the same. I embrace the multi-cultural society we all now live in and would just love it if all racism could be eradicated. However law is law and different countries have different laws, regimes & ways of doing things - i believe we should pick a place which suits us best and go there; not moan n gripe and protest trying to change somewhere to suit us. (and this applies to british people moving to other countries as much as to people from other countries moving here!)

ANY acts of violence whether or not religious in nature are not good. Personally, i think it is an act of violence to brainwash a child into believing one thing, and not teaching them about the whole picture. But that is just me.
