Usually they are good until the arrest is made. They do not always come off your record even if they are expired so the next time you are stopped you will probably be arrested (or given a new summons depending on the original offense).

It depends on what crime it is for. A warrant for murder has no expiration, most traffic tickets are for 37 months, other crimes have various time limits. The best way to find out is check the local law agency or an attorney.

Until they get the bastard or he gets it removed. Sometimes they arrest you and the warrant doesn't get removed and you might get arrested again for it after you get out.

Most of them are date stamped, however some are continuous until the arrest is made.
