If your floors were sealed with polyurethene, you should use a solution of 1 part white vinegar, 3 parts warm water. If the entire floor is dull, then work in 2' x 2' sections, washing and drying with old towels so you don't have water spots. No need to rinse. In the future spot clean with the vinegar solution. It even works on dried out kitty puke.

Use of any other cleaner or polish will dull your floors. My hardwood floors look shiny and newly finished after 18 years. Only time I had a problem was when the cleaning people used Murphy's oil soap on my stairs. The vinegar solution removed the dull layer.

I never use soap on my wood floors. I just take an old wet cloth and wash them using my foot! The cloth should not be soaking wet but very wet and tightly wrung. Throw it down on the floor and push it around. Rinse and wring it out to get the dirt out every now and then . Keep going until cloth looks fairly clean. Every now and then use a wood non soap cleaner to shine them.

Mild detergent or disinfectant. See if you can borrow/ hire a industrial high speed polisher and buff it. How long since it has been sealed. It may need another coat.
