I'm not married yet but my fiancee' and I still have a great life outside of the home. We have a blast as much as we can money and time being the biggest constraints..

As for others it depends upon who you marry. Marry a couch potato and you will be lucky to get chips. Marry a party head and you will be lucky to know what your own bed looks like.

The best is to marry a partner that wants and needs the same things in life as you do.

Marriage can be wonderful if both parties know what the vows they speak actually mean. If one sees it as a temporary thing then it will be,if one sees it as smothering so it will be. If one sees it as all rules and regs then they do not understand it and are not ready for the commitment. Marriage is a life time spent with another of your choosing, not to be entered into frivolously. Marriage is saying to the world I love this person and I am fully committed to them. Anything less is friendship and you can stay single and have friends too. O_-

Depends on how the TWO of you feel about each other. I personally like being married to my husband, but apparently his ex-wives didn't. But that also goes for my ex-husbands about me too. Not getting to go out, that is absurd.Never getting to do anything this is even worse. You don't marry someone to be held captive, this is MODERN AMERICA-for goodness sake. Stop listening to those idiots who are telling you such stupid things, listen to your heart,ok? Good luck

If your spouse is your best friend and you marry for true love life is never boring unless you let it get boring. There is no rush.

It's boring only if you marry a boring person. Take your time looking, test-drive a few of them, and make a wise choice. Then it'll be fun.

My marriage is ANYTHING but boring!! I married my soul mate!
When you're in a committed type of relationship..going out with without the other is boring and is just a waste of time...I don't want to go out without my husband and he doesn't want to go out without me...we have a date night set aside and we drink a nice bottle of wine and listen to music or watch a movie...Marriage is what you put into it...NOT just what you take out of it...

Those are boring people. I love being married. We go out alot and do cool stuff. Here's a piece of advice an old timer gave me and is true: If you marry broke, you'll stay broke.

This is very much a stereo type on marriage, they also say you dont get enough sex, it all comes down to the relationship itself, it comes down to you and your partner, its not true and a generalisation, a relationship does not end in marriage, it begins, it needs to be nurtured, understood and communicated, it is more work yes, its more effort, but its all worth it!

My husband and I agree we wouldn't of rushed into marriage if we had the choice to do it again. We get have a great marriage, but a piece a paper shouldn't be so over rated. If your committed to that person then you shouldn't have to have a piece a paper to say you are together forever.
