the condom is sticky - that's why you have to use a lot of lube on the outside.

Well, considering you are asking this question, I hope you're not using them (and I mean that in the not having sex way, not the not using protection way).
But, to answer your question they have something like a rubber band at the top, and they are stretchy so they will form fit to a guy's penis...oops, I mean "Private." Some guys like to be big headed and think they have...well, a big head, and try to use the Large/X-Large condoms that don't really fit, and if that's the case the condom wont stay on....BE CAREFUL

THey are very stretchy, and unrolled onto the guy, the top still has a rolled shape which helps.
You may not want to think of this, but both the object and its cover are balloons of a type. The one inside is filled with blood held in place by valve-like constrictions. well i think before a a condom can stay on a guys privates,his penis must have being hard.after noticing its hardness then it can be enrolled onto the penis and by so doing it is going to stay on his penis without removing.

They are supposed to fit tight. If they don't they won't stay on and will come off inside the vagina. So be sure your guy has one that fits.
