I was you in high school. I felt ugly and unloved and I thought I was a huge loser because I didnt have a boyfriend. I honestly didn't really date guys until college and I didn't have a serious relationship until I met my fiance, which was after I graduated and was 22. High school is a tough time for us girls, but as you get older your confidence will grow and guys will flock. TRUST ME. You may think you're ready for a boyfriend, but you're not. I honestly am glad I didn't have a boyfriend at your age because it helped me form stronger friendships with my girlfriends and I had a whole lot more fun than dealing with highschool romance dramas. Concentrate on your school work, get into college, and start your career. Believe me, guys will come around when they're ready.

You are in high school to study and learn , so you will be prepared mentally in life !! If you think you are depressed now without a boyfriend , just wait until you have one and he uses you and then drops you like a lead balloon after he is through with you , than you will know real depression. Pray and ask The Lord to guild you and show you the way to the right man for you !!!

You can feel better by doing things for yourself and others. For example try volunteering in your community, doing something new with or for your friends or family, joining a study or debate team, trying out for a sport etc.
When we receive positive feedback about other aspects of our lives then the ones that we're a bit down about won't affect us as much. High school can be a potboiler of peer pressure however remember that the majority of these people won't be in your life for long and their opinion is only fleeting. What you do for yourself and others remains with you forever.

A true relationship does not preceed friendship. Learn how to be true to yourself first, then you can be true to a friend. This way the mistakes you make will be your own and not someone else's. Besides, HS dating is WAY over rated. No one ever knows exactly what they need, they are driven more by what they want.

There is so much more to life than worrying about not having a boyfriend.
Hang with your girlfriends, join a club, play a sport.
High school is way to young to be tied down. Don't sweat it.

Have an imaginary bf. Just kidding.
Well, You could try talking to a boy and make friends with him first,(If he's not taken.) Then He might start to like you and ask you out. You know what I mean?

You can feel happy when you realize that "Only you can make you happy". If you are not happy with yourself now, a boyfriend is not going to make it better. Trust me......
