I wouldn't worry about it, hun. I'm 15, am a virgin, and I've had my period for three years now. Still, though, it will decided to skip around. I've had times where it'll skip for five months, then I'll have times when they come within three weeks of each other. It's really nothing to worry about.
If you feel really nervous about missed periods, though, you may want to take birth control for the hormonal balancing aspect of it. It will help clear your acne, put your periods on time, and get rid of mood swings. I personally don't take it, but both of my sisters started taking it when they were thirteen in order to be more regular.
So, don't worry about anything, hun. If it scares you too much, tell your mom or a doctor, but your friend's answer was pretty much as correct as it gets. Hang in there and relax, dear!

Well sometimes when women or girls drop alot of weight in a short amount of time is called amenoria, from excessive sports by dropping alot of body fat. But I don't know if that is the case for you. I would check with a doctor. Your periods may not be normal, and sometimes women get put on birth control to regulate their periods. Some have too many or not enough. Check with a doctor.

It can be very common for a woman to skip a period esp if there has been a change in your life such as stress. or relocation. Also if your periods are not regular in the first place then you could skip one. There could be many reasons. If you are really worried go see a gyno. If you have not done "the deed" then there shouldn't be any worrying about pregnancy.

That has happened to me & it is normal but that usually means you will not have regular peiods & they can come once or twice a month or sometimes 2-3 months later. If your stressed out or over or under weight that can affect you getting it also . If your reallly freaked out about see a doctr & they can give you pills to try & regulate you but if you haven't done anything I would not worry!

It can be normal to skip a month. If you play sports or are active this can also lead to it. The best thing to do is see a doctor if you still don't get it.

It also depends on how old you are and how long you have been having your period for. If you are young it can take up to a few years for your cycle to become regular. If you're really concerned possibly consider going on the contraceptive pill and this will regulate your periods for you. Hope this helps!

you may want to ask your doctor, as this could be something serious, but it may not. Sometimes it will skip if you lose a lot of weight, are under heavy stress, or meds change things around.

"You are not a machine."---This happened to me and the doctor told me this--so do not worry--I had gotten my period then didn't for months! So he put me on birthcontrol to regulate my period better--no big deal! Also --you could be under some stress. Not to worry--just remember you are not a machine!
