In the UK it was Cinderella Rockerfella by Esther & Abi Ofarim
whom I have no bloody idea who they are or what the hell ist sounds like !!! Never heard of them in my life. HOwever at number one in the USA it was Otis Redding (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay, and that is a great tune.
