It depends on which generation of shuffle you're talking about. The older one (white) has a built in USB connector so a cable is not necessary.

yes it does...my shuffle is a bit tricky though. i can't have the shuffle in a usb port when i turn on my computer (seems to freeze up during POST)...anyways, my shuffle doesn't charge sometimes. the light will flash on and off, but isn't really charging, it's really just "on" and the battery drains. i've been using different types of USB cables (not just the one supplied by Apple) and the shuffle charges just fine. otherwise, how else would you charge it? hrrrmmm???

If the Zune is made to fee off the usb cable at the same time as plugged into the computing device, you'd be waiting to adhere to a wall charger that mimics the USB potential source. i take advantage of one to fee my cellular, and MP3 participant after I go back and forth, and that i actually have one interior the motor automobile.
