There is no such thing as an Atheist Church, seeing as being Atheist is defined by no belief in a church or God. If you are talking about a Unitarian curch (which is a Church that does accept gays) than go right ahead. The Unitarian curch accepts everyone of every faith.

I have been to a pagan church even though I believe in God. so I don't see that their is any legal reason you would have problems. I just would not advise you to take communion. You don't know what they spike the grape juice with.

Why do Atheists have churches if they don't believe in God, or any religion. What do they preach about? The things they DON'T believe in?

The question you need to ask yourself is why? If you dont want to go to church because the people there suck then go where you feel most comfortable. I dont think anyone is going to have you arrested. Athiests also commonly bill themselves as "freethinkers" which it sounds like you are. Good for you for thinking for yourself and finding out whats right for you.

You wouldn't be going to that Church if you really did Believe in God.
In fact your consciousness would seriously bother you for doing so!!!!!!!
A true believer would never go to a public Atheist Church!!!!1
