The last four days I have had this eye twitch. Usually it comes and goes once in a while but never does it stay this long. How can I make it stop? What causes it. Please help!

Have you had symptoms of dry eyes? That's one of the causes of blepharospasm (eye twitch). Other common causes are:
Stress; Irritation of the Cornea or Conjunctiva; Fatigue; Lack of sleep; Prolonged staring at a computer screen or tv; Nervous system disorders.

Look at this site:

There are many other websites on this. Use the Yahoo search box and key in "eye twitch" (using the quotation marks).

Hope this helped.

you know, i've got the same freaking twitch! my right eye won't stop twitching. i average 6.5 - 7 hours of sleep every night and i'm in pretty good shape...i seriously have no idea why this is?

hah, just told to me by elders, a twitch in the right eye means something good will happen or good fortune...something like that?

Don't know what causes it, but every time it twitches, don't pay attention to it. Being aware of it all the time makes it twitch more.
It probably has to do with nerves or stress.

I hate that! Have you tried rubbing your eye? I get that all the time in my left eye, I try to rub it away. Doesn't always work, but it helps. It will go away in time. Don't you think it is interesting that everytime you try to look at it in the mirror, it goes away? Oooo...try that!
