I lost my mucus plug at about 33 weeks with my son but I didn't have him untill I was 36 weeks along
All that means is that you are starting to dilate some
You can be dilated the same amount for months!
Losing your mucus plug doesn't mean you will go into labor soon, all it means is you are one step closer to holding your baby in your arms

For me, I lost my mucus plug and went into labor 4 days later. However, I've heard that it can take even two weeks. I saw my doctor the morning before I went into labor and she thought that even with losing my mucus plug that I wasn't near delivering at all and even mentioned inducing in another 4-5 days because my baby was anticipated to be large and I was having severe swelling in one foot. Everything worked out and was great! Good luck!

Passing your mucus plug doesn't necessarily mean you'll go into labor in the next few hours. If you're bleeding too, it just means your cervix is stretching out, and you may be in early labor. If you're concerned, call your doctor. But If it were me, I'd wait until I began having contractions regularly.
Good luck!

Pregnancies are like snowflakes, none are ever the exact same. You could go into labor as early as now or weeks after your due date. Try inducing labor naturally, with walking or sex. Or that blackberry leaf tea stuff. Don't try the castor oil or anything like that.
Good luck Hon, and congrats on the upcoming baby!

for me, I began wasting my mucus plug round 9pm and my water broke at three:30am. However, i have heard of humans going a pair weeks after wasting theirs earlier than exertions starts. I consider it is simply distinct with each person. The undeniable fact that you are already 37 weeks is a well signal. Good success!!

I lost my plug at about 33 weeks as well...here I am...today....my due date....still pregnant!! My doctor confirmed I lost it, but when it's that early, your body re-creates a plug. If your water breaks, defiantly call your doctor, and go to the hospital.

i dropped my plug about 10 at night and minor labor pains started the next morning ( a friday)...they increased gradually...my water didn't break until 9:3 sunday morning and my daughter was born 5:29 sunday evening.
however you are a few weeks early, please call your doctor, for the safety of you and the baby.

I lost my mucos 2 months before i had my baby.Losing your mucos plug doesn't mean anything,it is not a sign of labor. If your water breaks that would be a sign but it is a common mis-conception that losing your mucos plug some how means you are going into labor.Don't panic you will be okay.
