I just bought a house and needed to reset my keypad codes--I had no manuals. So I went to the manufacturers website and they have an electronic manual on line to tell you how to reset your code! Very easy

seem like there is a button or switch labelled 'learn' on the motor unit. pushing it flashes the light and gives you 30 seconds to enter a new code on the keypad.
Remember: Sears doesn't make these things, they bid them out and whoever will make them least expensively to Sears specs will get the bid that year. There are many models made by many manufacturers.

If youhave litle wire looking thing you can attach that with one of your remotes, hold down the button on your remote for three second then hold down the enter button onyour keyless entry and then you should be able to type in your 4 digit password and then hold down the enter key again for another 3 seconds and then it should be fixed.

Look for a switch on the box inside the garage. The switch allows you to set a new passcode. Once you've selected a new code, then return the switch to its normal operating position.
