Wow--I can't believe there's so many wrong answers here! LOL. I guess none of you guys live in Austin. Well, I've lived in Austin for 13 years and can tell you that the Longhorn-A&M rivalry is more intense than the Red River Shootout. Yeah, the Sooner game USED to be bigger, maybe--but that was back in the days of the old Southwest Conference when Oklahoma & Texas were always slugging it out for the title.
But there is no more SWC--it's the Big 12 now (and theree's TWO of those!) So the game has lost lustre. But do to geography (College Station is only a two-hour drive from Austin) the A&M game has taken over as the big one. Plus, the difference between the two schools is like night and day, it is more than a game--it is a true culture clash.

There was actually something about this if you watched the beginning of the Texas A&M game last week. It was said that Franchione from Texas A&M says that Texas is their biggest rival but if you ask Mack Brown from Texas he says that Oklahoma is their biggest rival. So I guess it depends on what school youre supporting.

Now probably Oklahoma
But earlier I'd say A&M because Oklahomas was always Nebraska Remember Oklahoma was Big 8 and Texas was South West Conference.
