ok my sister brought a t-mobile fone(which is montly) and it had bad service(cuz she work/lives by the mountain in new york)so she brough another t-mobile fone but it was a prepaid phone so she took the sim card from monthly fone fone and put it in the prepaid phone and then she went over minutes and she has an overdue phone bill and they wouldn't let make or recive calls so her b/f brought her a phone under his name but he has cingular and she wants to cut off the t-mobile fone line and give me the prepaid phone to use as a prepaid fone and i want to know does she have to pay the bill b4 i can use the phone and how do i get my number wen she gives it to me and is it possible to get my name wen i call a person for my name to show up on their caller id help please

whe she brought the prepaid phone she kept the stuff that came along with it and she's going to give it too me

You have to purchase another sim card and activate it from that phone. Since your activating a new phone then they won't wait for her to pay. You can buy sim cards seperately as I know fido sells them i think for $25.00

I'm pretty sure that is the way it works.

Call in the phone company or you can go to the fone company and get the number and the caller I.D changed.

She needs to pay the bill, or you do before you can use the phone. Or go to your local T-mobile store and ask them...
