I would have no problem being the designated driver. For starters, if I don't offer, I run the risk of having my fiancee drive intoxicated and I wouldn't want that. He and I have an arrangement: If we're not carpooling and we're the only two going home for the evening, then one stays sober while the other drinks. I'm fine that he has his fun and I'm fun with the driving and the cleaning up after the puke and whatever comes wih alcohol.. That's what wives do.. the good ones at least.

Anytime dicussion turns to social gatherings outside the home my wife knows going in that she is the designated driver. I am a lightweight.

ME ! I am always the designated driver whenever we go anywhere.............I hardly ever have a drink.....Husband likes beer...... When..we are usually gone 4-5 hours or more, I have a drink when we get there, and that is alll..(but that only happens once a month) I don't like the stuff too much...My husband knows he is lucly.......

I just posted a question that my kid is driving me to drink too! The heck with the des driver, lets let your wife look after my kid, and we'll get together and drink and complain.

That is so funny! I am sure that my husband feels the same way, but I can't be your designated driver because then I would be enabling you to do something you shouldn't be doing.

I used to drive my husband to drink, but now with gas prices so high I just keep him at home and drive him in sane.
He's quite amusing in the little white jacket.

i imagine you probable meant some thing to him also, inspite of which will be, and now he's attempting to ignore about you also. do not take him ignoring you as a way of conserving he would not imagine of you because it really is probable the total opposite. Now on on your question, I easily do no longer recognize. I easily have some faces i will't get out of my head too. yet one component that has helped me is to no longer bypass searching or awaiting or desiring some thing from them. i take advantage of to bypass on my area and need there became a message from him yet now I infrequently even bypass on there. i finished desiring him so the face is slowly subsiding. wish this helps!

im not a wife, but i dont drink, so whenever me and my boyfriend go out, he always drives to the place where we are going, and i drive home cause he drinks. i think its fare, as long as he is not soooo drunk that i have to almost carry him into the house. lol
