I am getting a sore throat, coffing, stuffy nose, head hurts, and ears.
Every day my mom says u still have to go even though your sick!
so do u think i should or shouldn't go to school and why or why not? do u think my mom is wrong or right?

stay home your contagious and you can get a really bad ear infection. kids go to school sick and then other people pass it around then next month it will come back to you.

You should get it checked out sometimes those symptoms are common in Infectious mononucleosis which can be very harmful to some kids with existing conditions. My advice is to make an appointment with the Dr. ASAP and let them decide. Never go to school with a fever.

Just suck it up and go, Drink alot of orange juice. I have Lupus and Kidney disease and didn't get to finish school because of it and since then life has been a huge struggle! School is EXTREMELY important, even though it can be rough. You'll pull through. Stay strong you'll get alot of praise for it. :)

Stay home. First of all, you're pretty contagious. And also, it'll take longer for the sickness to go away if you keep on doing activites such as school.

The only reasons that a school would want you to stay home is if you are running a fever or vomiting... Sounds to me like you can still go to school.

Yes and no. It depends how sick you are, if your weak and can't get up without getting a headache, can't breathe because your so stuffed up, have a cold in your eye then you shouldn't go to school otherwise take medicine and go.

Don't go. I HATE people who come into work sick as crap and spread it to everyone else. Trust me noone wants a sick person at school or work, especially your peers.

i would have to disagree with you mum. it is not fair to either you or your school mates to go sick. they could catch it and then others will be miserable. you should stay home, get better, and then return with a clear head and more alert mind.
