Yes, it can be normal. I have noticed an increase of belly hair. Don't shave or wax it, because then it will start coming in thicker. It should fall out after the baby is born.
I knew a lady that grew a full on beard when she was pregnant, but it all fell out when the baby was born.

Omg! Has is happened!? Lets just say my happy trail was longer and darker than my husbands!!! It is due to the elevation of hormones during pregnancy. Whatever you do, don't shave it!!! It will grow back faster, darker and thicker lol. If you want to lighten it, try some hydrogen peroxide. Once your hormones even back out shortly after giving birth, it will go away. I know it stinks, but it comes with the territory. I know, how UNFAIR! They get to have all the fun and we turn into Chewbackka/Frankenstien! Congrats on the lil one!

Oh isnt this funny i had the same thing, most pregnant women get this and if not hair it's usually a dark line down the middle of their beely. It will go away after you have the baby.If you have the line too that will also go away after your baby is born. It's caused by your hormones, and thats why after those pregnancy hormoned leave your body the hairy belly goes with it!!!

I am so glad this happened to other people. I seriously though I was growing a winter coat. My doctor said it would go away after the baby is born, is because of hormones and stuff. My leg hair stopped growing though, that is nice.

It is very normal to have hair on the belly. What causes it is the testosterone that your body makes. Are you having a boy? Congratulations on your new little life. Good Luck !!!

I had to answer this one....Isn't it great. I am 5 months and my belly is hairy and my husband makes fun of it, but it is getting darker. I read it goes away after the baby.

I never had it, but I hear it's common. I wouldn't worry. It goes away after the baby comes.
