Wierd buzzing coming from my computer when hooked up to speakers?

I have my computer hooked up to my home stereo system through auxilary and it makes a buzzing sound all the time like a ground is messed up. It's connected through 5 six feet extension cables and it only buzzes when my computer(Dell) or my laptop(Dell) is hooked up. It doesn't buzz when my brother's laptop(HP) is hooked up or my mp3 player(Creative). Sup with that?

Check the specs on the exact models -- they may be designed for different levelsd of resistance.
