Usually, on a bottle of fabric dye, it says a pair of jeans weighs about a pound. How are you shipping it? Does the weight matter? I mean, does it have to be within a certain range, or fit in a certain-size envelope? I don't get how you can ship something and not know how much it weighs unless it's like a flat-rate shipping dealio.

I'd say a pound. Get something that weighs a pound, hold it in one hand, and hold the jeans in the other hand. If they feel the same, then it's a pound.
