OK people, I happen to know the link that I listed is for real. If you do a little research you will find that this organization has helped people in need all over the world. A large portion of their funding comes from Amish and Mennonite people. I also know a lot of you won't believe me, but my parents were raised Amish in Ohio. Those of you who claim the Amish will accept no help from anyone who is non-amish don't know what you are talking about. I do something about Amish ways! Most of my relatives are still Amish. There - It's off my chest and I feel a little better.

I think anyone with a shred of decency in them would want to help. Another way to help: Nickel Mines School Victims Fund: How you can help
HomeTowne Heritage Bank

Strasburg, Pennsylvania 17579

On the news tonight it was reported that they feel it is a blessing that so many people want to help them and that they would not refuse this help.

You can also check out WGAL.com, it is the local television station. They have addresses of banks accepting donations to help the Amish with medical, and traveling expenses. They had to find a way to get to the hospitals that were far away for them.

The Amish have also started a fund for the Robert's children( the shooter's family).

They are accepting donations from the addresses I have discussed above. These funds were started by the Amish. They will accept help from the "English". They (AMISH) have selected a counsel to make sure that the money dispensed fairly.

Yet you must be careful because I'm sure that some disgusting person will try to scam money from this horrible event.
Please pray for everyone involved, the children and their families, the Robert's family, and the emergency responders, fire, EMS, police, etc. No matter what your faith.

Who is taking this money to them? They would never accept it. They don't accept charity from the English, and only take payment when they've earned it.
I would be a little worried the money wasn't getting to the people it was intended for.

Nope. They don't have computers. How is an online scam going to help?
