This is a question I really would like to know the answer to!!!!? It has just gotten way out of hand and looks so stupid! IT IS LIKE HOW LOW CAN YOU GO. What are your thoughts on the subject? Would you hire a person wearing this fashion? Date a person that dresses like this? Or simply, do you wear this style? Personally I think it has been long past due to be out of style! Any comments or answers will be appreciated.

I think it's hilarious when guys wear their pants so low that the crotch is at their knees, making them walk in a sort of waddle.

So to answer your question...I think the "saggging pants" look is ridiculous. I would never date anyone wearing this style.

I wear this style. It is really cool, i sag all the time. I sag super low, under my butt and let my boxers and briefs show even when i am walking. I wear short shirts and slim fitting jeans, that i buy 1 size bigger and never pull over my butt. I wear expensive clothes, deisel, true religion, rock n republic, D&G the expensive designer european look. I also wear nice designer belts and of course the best designer boxers and breifs. People are used to my style, but sometimes i get a little crazy and let my underwear fall down too. One day i went around with my entire butt hanging out. This is a free country and if i want to wear my pants around my legs i should be able to, i dont care what people think, i am confortable and have been doing this for years - i am now in my 30's and i will never stop for nobody. I have got to the point where if i try to wear my pants at my waist is is uncomfortable

I am 19, I don't know if you call this sagging but I like my pants about one inch under my boxers! I don't know why, that is just how they feel most comfortable!

The Sagging pants thing really came from Prison! because they only had one size or something like that. So there pants all ways sagged, Since you can not give a prisoner a belt. For reasons you probably all read know! but that is how it started.

I can not stand when there pants are down to below there butts!!!! that is just way out of line!!! as for dating? well I am a guy so that don't go for me !

I would not hire some one dressed like that for a floor job at walmart and kmart! but if you were applying for the stock job in the back were you are not going to get customers seeing this then it would be ok!!!!

Well I think that answers your question,
Adam D.

Adam D is right! The whole sagging pants thing did come from prisons. I see it all the time (I'm a prison social worker). The reason behind it however, was not because they all had the same size (sorry Adam), but it was meant as an advertisement for sex. It started to catch on among other inmates and the actual meaning was lost. Once inmates were release from prison, they took that prison mentality home and it caught on in the street.

I personally think that it is sloppy and dirty looking. Honestly, who in the world wants to see your drawers when they are walking down the street. It is for this reason that at the NJ state prisons, inmates are able to be given charges for "inappropiate dress."

I'm a high school teacher, and you would not believe some of the things I see my kids wear. I have boys who are under 150 pounds but who buy huge baggy pants and t-shirts in size 4 or 5X!!! The t-shirts go past their knees and the pants droop under that! Then I love it when boys wear pants so big that they either have to waddle like a duck or hold the pants up at the waist so they won't fall totally off when they walk. Oh, yeah...it's also really cute when they get in a a fight in the hallway and forget to hold up their pants...they come right off!!!

I agree...it is definitely time for this fad to be over!

this is a Christian e-e book. And no, there is not any longer something Jewish approximately Messianic "Judaism", except you're thoroughly blind to what the theology of Judaism is. putting on a kippah does not make you Jewish. Accepting the recent testomony yet calling it a "Brit Chadasha" does not make you Jewish. Calling Jesus "Yeshua HaMoshiach" does not make your concept Jewish. you're nonetheless worshipping a guy as God, and thoroughly perverting the spirit of the biblical verses which you employ to direct people to Jesus's divinity, and ignoring the somewhat prophecies of what the Jewish Messiah is particularly meant to do. The Messianic Jews somewhat must be kicked out of Israel already, they persistently attempt to cover themselves between somewhat Jews in basically approximately each and every way, from their periodicals to their "synagogues." they have grow to be like cockroaches.

I agree with how stupid it looks. They always seem to be seen holding thier pants up anyway! Plus, why in the world wear a belt AND sag?! Makes no sense...anyway...a loose fit pants look good. I agree with the other user bout skinny pants tho..looks silly.

I HATE this look, it is so sloppy. I do not care to see someones underwear, :P yuck! My step brother is 17 and wears his pants like this, it is funny cause one time his pants actually fell down to his ankles. ROFL!!
I wouldn't date anyone who looked like this, if I was a job interviewer, I'd never hire anyone dressed like that. It's a terrible trend.

I think they look awful and make the wearer look less intelligent, un-trust-worthy (reference many of the recent arrestees on "Cops"), and just plain idiotic. [Even worse, are the 'shorts' that end just above their socks. Beyond lunacy. ]
I agree - this look and the super-tight /super-low riders which cause even the slimmer girls to have 'muffin-tops' - have got to go!! Anything that makes you look bad should go - why do so many people wear bad clothes just because 'so and so's' name is on the label or the 'it' celeb wore them just last week.
I definitely would think twice about hiring someone who dressed this way, and I could not even begin to give someone a second look - much less a date - who wore this ridiculous look.
Even rappers look outdated in this 'style'. Please, think "fashion forward" and move on!!
