The least common multiple of 39 and 42 is 13 x 7 x 3 x 2 = 546

We have to remember that this amount is the minor number that can be divided by 39 and 42. I got it as follows:

39.......42 ----> divided by 2 gives:

39.......21 ----->divided by 3 gives:

13........7 ----->divided by 7 gives:

13 .......1 ------>divided by 13 gives:

1........1 ----> we finished!

We just have to multiply all the obtained prime numbers:
