my family has always loved watching the Iranian team because we are iranian. once world cup 2006 came, i got so into it that i realized my fave team is brazil and my fave two players are kaka and c.ronaldo from portugal.(which is funny cuz the 1st time i saw him, he was playing against iran). after that i wanted to watch and learn more about football. so now i watch UEFA and i like Man U and ac milan. what about u???

My dad used to play football and he would take me to the games, so its in my blood.
My mother is half Iranian and she was cheering for the them during the World Cups.

When you grow up in "nowhere, USA" it's very unusual really to like football/soccer. So, I didn't have that kind of upbringing and I grew up thinking that the sport was really boring to watch and stuff. But, like a couple months before the WC, I just sort of started watching some of the MLS and started looking up some players and teams. Eventually I became very interested in the English Premier League and I started to pay attention to scores and stuff. And then, once the WC came around, I was a full swing fan. I loved every minute of it. It was very exciting, more than I ever thought it would be. So yea...Now I watch it the sport as much as I can...We have FSC, but only on one TV in our house..and I've a big family w/ a lot of children, so it's hard for me to ever get the TV to myself. But I do keep up with results and scorers and stuff. But yea...I love it.

First interest I had was at primary school and I ended up playing for the school team. I also played in the secondary school team with Brian McDermott who went on to play for Arsenal. He was always much better than me anyway lol. I went to see my first live game watching Reading v Fulham when I was 11. Then I went to see Watford play and have been a fan of Watford ever since. I love to watch any team play and if I am not going to Watford I try to go to support my local village team. It doesn't have to be a big team playing for me to enjoy football,I can enjoy watching kids having a kick about in the park. I just love the game and it has taken over my life since I was a child

The first time I started to watch it was Euro 2004...I followed Italy throughout the whole tournament but since they got eliminated I started to cheer for Greece. And yea So i followed Greece and was soooo happy when they won against Portugal in the finals. Ever since then I have been following soccer alot.

1990 FIFA World Cup finals in ITALY was the first time i watch football & since then i become a football fan. when the English Premier League in ENGLAND established in 1992, i have become a true Liverpool fan & ENGLAND national team. Alan Shearer is my all time favourite player but Steven Gerrard is currently my favourite player.
football is my passion & even there is no major international tournament, i still follow the regional tournaments like UEFA Champions' League, UEFA Cup & the major football league in Europe. of course, when there is a major tournament like FIFA World Cup or UEFA European Championship, i certainly will not miss it.

The first time I thought I was really interested in football was in Euro 2004 After Eng-Pur game.And after thet I am a perfect football lover....but I recommend not watching Iranian football caz it makes me so angry with stubborn guys in the team!

No one in my family really played soccer, but i got interested in it at school when we played it for P.E. So I decided to play club soccer and i always watch soccer games on TV or at Cal State fullerton matches.

I always loved football but when my home country Trinidad&Tobago made it to the world cup this year I totally got into it and now I can't stop.I also adore Brazil's team and UEFA.
