Do you listen to while you are studying for school? Doing homework for school?
I used to listen to music i regularily listened to but now i get too distracted. I am doing classical right now when i study and do homework, but, its just not the same. Any suggestions?

I usually listen to softer rock, (linkin park, snow patrol coldplay, seether) Old rock, Hard rock(3 days grace etc) rap(well, emeniem)

Any kind of rock music, from classic rock, hard rock, punk rock. . .as long as it's rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I listen to big band. Like Count Basie or Duke Ellington. Other then that I like to listen to Broadway tunes or Dave Matthews. I like music that shows some intelligent thought was put into it. Maybe you need to start off with some classical piano Cd's. Try Famous Piano Music by Debussy. Also look up a CD by the Boston Pops Orchestra called: Classical Music For People Who Hate Classical Music. Go to Amazon and see if they have sample bits and see if you like it. Also look into Beethoven piano sonatas, maybe Chopin, Mozart, or Liszt.

I don't bring anything with me to listen to while I'm going to school but when I'm doing homework I listen to my iTunes.
As for your problem, I think your brain can't handle 2 things at once or you could try listening to toher genres and see what happens

well, classical.
i hate classical.
but i listen to it when i do homework and it seems to help me consentrate.
especially if the volume is on low.
as soon as the homework's done, i rip off my headphones and go back to hard rock :D, lol

easy get something like jazz....not classical makes you sleepy....or something amazing suggest musical pieces from modern bands such as flight of the thunderbird........or The Magic Forest...they may be beggining pieces but have a nice sound to

i listen to blue october, snow patrol, the fray , and hinder usually. if i ever listen to anything im probably listening to 107.5 or 101.1.

Listen to techno music but never rap. I hate rap music.
