What did it for me was hard boil egg whites. Weird I know! Listen to your body and eat whatever you feel like (at least once!)

Hopefully it will ebb in a few weeks. Most people do not keep morning sickness past the first trimester. Good Luck!

I had tremendous morning sickness in the first and second trimesters of my pregnancy. I tried EVERYTHING that i'd heard or read to alleviate it and nothing worked for me. Believe me when i said i tried everything: crackers, ginger, sour suckers, vitamin B6, Emetrol, etc. I eventually had to be put on some anti-nausea medication because i was losing too much weight too fast. I could only keep down about 2 pop-tarts a day.

If everything you are trying isn't working, DO NOT HESITATE to ask your doctor to put you on some anti-nausea medication. You won't feel so nauseous and will be able to eat, but you will still throw up from time to time. You just won't feel so miserable anymore. Good luck!

It can be a living hell. I am still sick at 4 months, but that is because I have irritable bowel aswell. I am not as bad as I was, but at one point I was eating like every 15 miniutes just to try and feel better. One thing that kind of helped was eating what it was that I craved. I guess my body was trying to tell me what I needed. You can get a drug from the doctor that is safe for pregnancy called diclectin, but it didn't work very well for me. It helped me not to throw up, but I still felt wickedly nausous all day long. Eventually I had to stop working I was so bad. If you are 12 weeks it should be almost over for you. Most people only have it until 12 weeks and I'd have to say I definately improved around then. I am now really just dealing with really bad symptoms from IBS. Good Luck. I know it's hard!

Nothing worked for me, including prescription stuff. If I puked first thing in the morning, it wasn't too bad the rest of the day. Carry barf bags around with you 24/7. I am well into my 2nd trimester and I still have it, not as bad though. You just get used to it I guess. Wake up, take shower, vomit, go to work. Repeat. Oh! Make sure you have something in your belly all the time. The dry heaves are the WORST!

I was pregnant with twins, and I was so sick that I lost 17 pounds between week 5 and 12. But I pretty much continued to have nausea throughout the whole pregnancy. I even tried Diclectin (moring sickness prescription pill), it did nothing for me! I just got used to it after awhile LOL

Peppermint tea and ginger worked for me. My friend had it bad and this is what she did (with her doctor's blessing). She took a Unisom tablet (the regular tablet - yes the sleep pill) and mixed it with Vitamin B6 every night before she went to bed. Worked like a charm for her. And also for another friend of mine. I didn't try it - the tea, ginger, and making sure I have something in my tummy (eating small meals throughout the day) worked for me.

First of all, no over the counter meds unless you talk to your doctor. I also stayed very sick all day long for 9 months while I was pregnant. The one thing that helped me was saltines and sprite or ginger ale.

OK NO MORE PEPCID! But try juice pops, or saltines and/or ginger ale. I was really sick my last 2 pregnancies and honostly the juice pops were the best thing.

Oh I feel your pain! I was sick all day every day with my first child. I learned with later pregnancies to never let my stomach get empty. That's when I felt really sick. Try to eat six or seven small meals a day or snack very often. Don't let your tummy get empty.

Good luck! I know it's horrible, but it will go away. :)

ask your doc about a percriptionn for it..usually they percribe fernigan or something to that sort..but they didnt help me...i had to get a specially made compound drug that worked wonders..ask your OB what your options are and make sure that you tell them that NOTHING IS WORKING! another thing that helped me was ginder tablets located in the vitamin section and also candy would help my stomach calm down. hope some of this stuff will help
