I need to dress up as a city slicker?

For school, what should I wear? A suit?

Yip suit is ideal, either dark blue or grey.
Crisp white shirt (with cufflinks) and shiny shoes and, if anyone you know has one, a briefcase will finish it off nicely.

You could go the suit route, or the ultra-fashionable route. Look in current fashion magazines and see what people are wearing that is considered fashionable and emulate that. City slicker is a mentality, though, not a way of dressing.
