does anyone else think that it sucks when game system makers introduce a new system and games and stop making them for the older system that you have so that you have to spend an outrageous amount of money on the new ones?

Yes. And I can't believe people actually paid $1,000+ when XBox360 came out. That's nuts.

Yes it dose suck but a lot of the new systems like PlayStation2 and now 3 have back words comparability so you can still play you're old games you have so those are not a complete wast of money "On the up side"
Also from what I hear for Wii it will play Gamecube game so It looks like more are starting to do that.
Yep each year the price for them gets really pricey I remember the first Nintendo was $100 now they are like $500 to $600

I so agree with that. With the Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3, the prices are starting to soar. My brothers are actually getting a Wii, and I was looking at the game prices for the system and exclaiming at how high they are. The kid next to me was telling me that the games for PS3 will be even more. Way-y-y too much.
And you're right about it sucks when they don't make any games for the old system. No new games and no new fun. I makes you bored and then actually wanna buy the newer [but sometimes costly] systems.

OMG YES! Between my husband and my son we have every freakin system, because of that reason. I think that each video game maker should give each system at least a 10-15 year life span before introducing the newer and better. It seems like every Christmas I have to buy a new system!

It's basic economics.Supply and demand.All you have to do is get 51% or more of all the video game players in the world to stop demanding new systems!

Definately! Also when I use an animation software and then they upgrade in like 2 months and you have to pay another frickin fee to get the upgrade!! Them azzes!!! But I would do the same thing if I was making the dough! Cause you have to think that people will keep buying to keep up with the technology!!! We are such techies!!! Our poison. LoL

MEE... i have continually theory that I suck at math becuz i do not attempt. yet after I studied and did better prepare 4 a try I were given a D. Now i'd could repeat pre-algebra again in ninth grade... pray 4 me!!

It drives me crazy! Cuz then you have tyo keep the old system and buy the new systems, and have like 40 billion wires behind the tv to hook them all up. My hubby has 5 feaking systems right now, and they are all hooked up. He only plays one faithfully, xbox 360.
