They are always on in the day to take advantage of the long term sick/unemployed/redundant who are likely to be struggling financially.
I just think its a bit sick, they are preying on people who are in debt and have financial problems - by offering to get them in to MORE debt! Most of these loans are probably secured anyway so if the poor sods default on them they lose their homes.
People in debt need to go to the citizens advice and get then to negotiate with your creditors - free of charge. Taking on any extra loan just makes it worse!
Those twats on the Picture Loans advert are really annoying. As are those labotomied specimens who claim to be the helpline workers and say things like "we can help even if you have a poor credit rating or CCJs!" Yeah by offering a loan you can't afford at a stupidly high rate of interest. Thanks a lot.

OH and "Injury Lawyers For You" - and ALL those "Ambulance Chasers" are crap,. My mum had a car accident last Christmas that left her with a broken sternum. It was a cut and dried case (other driver was drunk and admitted reponsibility to the police) and they STILL haven't got it sorted out for her!!!!

Absolutely, and I get irritated by people who say that all the time, they could just nod and say uh huh or something, Absolutely.. Argghhh, Anyway right on the money, pun intended!! with that, they are all all condescending, but the more mud they throw at the wall the more sticks, apparently. The adverts or links that crop up like the 118 directory enquiries annoy me as well, in all honesty it doesn't work for them with me, I'm making a stand!! and if I need a number I am determined not to call them because of their cheesy adverts, I'll find another option that doesn't bug me so much, or at all, but even so have you noticed that when you ask for a number, which is already going to cost you, they say, "Do you want To be connected" with a simpering tone, quickly I say, "uh uh no thanks, I can write it down," their tone changes, and I can almost feel them glowering at the end of the line for catching on. I've stopped their pitch and the quick mumble they finish with, "charges will be 60p a minute or 80p per minute' or whatever hiked up price they apply for a direct connection.
They might as well say "Doh!!" when I decline the connection.
So here's to all those advertising execs that sell these ideas, we know what you are doing, ohh yes we do, and whatever the product, the more it's shoved in my face, the less likely I will call the number.!! So there!!! lol

I hate all the loan and injury lawyer adverts but what really grates my cheese is the one loan ad that has Carol Vorderman in it.
With her money and brains and social status she should really know better!
I wonder how many people have took up a consolidated loan on her say so and are still struggling.
She doesn't need to do those ads and some people are going to be silly enough to listen to her becasue she is regarded as a respectable pillar of society.
If I ever see her.........

Yeah! They LOVE people with poor credit ratings and CCJ's because they are more likely to default on their payments - thus giving the loan company the rights to seize their home - note that ALL these companies offer loans to "home owners"!! I saw an ad the other day and the interest rate was 29.9%!!! OMG! Why would anyone DO that to themselves? I despair, I really do!

I hate them!!!!
I am deeply in debt - but trying to pay, everyone back. I get up to twenty calls (if I'm in) or messages (when I'm not) Half are threats about repayment, the other half are from people who WANT TO HELP MY FINANCIAL SITUATION!!!!!
I can understand how debt leads to suicide. I know its my fault from the start, but everyone seems to want a piece of me and theres nothing left.

,YES!!! very much so and, along with car insurance(especially that one for women where they are all dressed in pink singing in the back of a Cadillac singing like finger nails being dragged down a chalk board) and most of all ads for compensation claims really really annoy me the most.
