OK--today's newspaper had an article on Pluto and if it is or isn't a planet, or a dwarf planet OR whatever--and the story goes on to discuss that the Hubble spent SEVEN WHOLE DAYS peeking into the "Sagittarius Window" looking FOR PLANETS!!!
And FOUND THEM !!!! And now the observers say there have to be BILLIONS of planets out there and that life of SOME SORT is nearly certain.
Like, WOW!!!?!?!?
Well, my suspicions are up now. I remember that the "Ohio Wow! Signal" originated in that constellation while it was above the southern horizon back in the, what, 1950s when that FRIGHTENING graph was produced.
And the entire constellation LOOKS LIKE A TEAPOT!!!
YES, IT DOES!!!!
And now we find that those guys got up a full SEVEN DAYS to peer through the Window at really far-off things--like 26,000 light-years.
WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?? Is there something they suspect? Are they onto something and trying to figure it out before telling us what is going on?
Well?
