The past few weeks, I've had this numb, but sharp pain under my right breast. When I asked my doctor about it, she said my baby was probably just pushing on a nerve, but today it's much worse, and if I touch the skin where it's numb, it's very painful. If I press on the numb part, it's fine. My breast lays right on the spot, so it's hard to avoid touching the spot. My due date is today...I don't think that has anything to do with it, but it's VERY painful, and I'm starting to get concerned.

I had the same thing happen to me.I was pregnant with twins and across the entire top of my stomach, like under my breasts was numb to the point that i couldpoke myself or scratch mu self and not feel it yet it would be a painful weird feeling throughout the area.Does that make any sense to you. After i had them it got better but i still feel like that area isn't the same any more,it's kind of tender or just a weird feeling.Anyways it was because of how the baby's were laying and pushing against nerves. You should be fin e and if you are worried then you could speak with your doctor about your concerns

Hi It sounds like you have probably just pulled a small muscle......sometimes when the baby keeps getting up under your breast at the top of your ribs,it tends to get really sore. You r probally fine, and congratulations!

probably is the baby pushing on it. The good news is, you only have another few days left tops. If it still bothers you after the baby is born, go have an exam. Also, if it bothers you, you can always go to the ER. Good luck with your new bundle of joy.

keep in mind if you are due today then there is not much room in there. It might suck but you will have to wait it out. If you were not so far along then you might have been able to go to the chiropractor. good luck.

if it's still there after the babe is born, try and get an xray and see what's going on. there's not much u can do until then.
