Higher taxes. A cut-and-run foreign policy. Illegal immigrants by the tens of millions. Cow-towing to the UN. Trashing the military. Lots of new rights for gays and other pervs. Bigger and bigger government.
The same things they've ALWAYS been "for".

Well, the "war on terror" is mainly a political ploy, a meaningless phrase. If you mean what would they do in Iraq and Afganistan, they have been saying right along, instead of an uphill deathrate, and a continued lack of commitment by the locals, start phasing it out. Never should have gotten involved in a part of the world that this government has no clue about, even yet, just because they embarrassed G.H.W.B when he blundered around there. The Dem.s position has been sung loud and clear, and labled as "unamerican" by the man responsible for the deaths of so many.
Illegal immigration? Remember who it was that wanted amnesty for illegals, just two years ago? Wasn't the Dems. Now suddenly we have a smoke screen regarding illegals, while the republicans ram through HR 6166 EH which negates the Geneva Convention, the Constitution, and allows torture, including torturing you if they define you as aiding the "terrorists", which includes verbal disagreement with Republican "policy".
Domestic spending? With the National Debt having gone from zero to an estimated $30trillion (the $8trillion Bush quoted was a lie, one of many), the infrastructure in the U.S. will continue to decline. Federal funding for public safety has already been cut, and such assistance as was voted for relief of hurricane victims, forestfire victims, etc. has gone into the pockets of two major corporations via illegal modifications of existing military contracts. Sorry folks, no money left for home, just the biggest debt in history, bigger than all the previous ones rolled together, including that of the Reagan administration which at that time exceeded all previous administrations combined--- that includes two world wars, and a whole slew of smaller ones.
Looks like just a lack of neocons would be plenty for the Dems. to bring with them. Oh, and I'm a life long republican myself, but not s degenerate neocon.

I too would like to hear a platform from the Democratic party. I am voting against Republicans that hide the truth about pedophiles and those that are in favor of wasting more lives and people for oil.

If the Dem's know what is best for the country, how to run the war in Iraq ,how to get Bin Laden, what to do about Iran and N.Korea why are they keeping it a secret until you vote them into to power. If they serve this country why wouldn't they be putting everything on the table for the betterment of this country? So is it the country they love or power?

Same could be said of the crew in congress and the white house.
Nothing on illegal immigration
nothing on domestic policy-- is there even a domestic Policy?
and the war on terror is a joke-- Iraq is a mess and so is Afghanistan.

The future of America, the Constitution, freedom, getting our allies back after Bush alienated them, removal from a war of choice, an effort to bring Osama to justice, much less hypocrisy in government, courts that aren't packed and a congress that isn't rubberstamp, bringing back FEMA as a working agency, and so much more. I recommend you stop watching Fox propaganda and watch Keith Obermann on MSNBC--catch him on youtube; same story for Jon Stewart, he'll help you find the path. As a soldier and a Democrat, I walk the line for freedom. I know what I'm voting for, and it isn't a slogan like "Stay the Course."

You don't really want an answer do you?
This complaint is so old and tired it could be Dick Cheney's grandpa. Democrats keep saying over and over what they're for and Repubs keep saying they're not for anything. It's just a game.
Leave Iraq, strengthen the borders and ports, cut spending on defense. Tighten CO2 emissions requirements...
On and on.

I HAVE YET TO HEAR ANYTHING FROM THE REPUBLICANS ON ANY OF THESE ISSUES THAT RESEMBLES A WORKABLE PLAN YET...
I have heard some good ideas on health care, economy and some interesting ideas on the war on terror from the dems...
Why is it that when I talk to people that watch Fox News... they say "the dems have no plans"... yet when I talk to people that don't watch it... they know the dems plans? Does Fox not talk about it ever? so much for fair and balanced... HAHAHAH

If you haven't yet heard any ideas or plans from the democrats then you must be blind, deaf, and just plain stupid. Just one example is the conservative uproar over John Murtha. If he has no plan to get out of Iraq, why are you conservatives in such an uproar against him? No need to go on to any other examples because you just want to state the Republican talking points and are too dumb to listen to anyone that doesn't promote the conservative agenda.

This is because you watch Fox News and listen to Rush.
There are some real nice visions for america being concocted by democrats, but you need to open your ears to hear someone talking.
