I'm in florida and there is a shortage of pinkys and fuzzies.

Yes, there is actually a shortage in alot of areas right now. If you have mice consider yourself lucky.
Local petstores have been out of them for weeks as have the local breeders.
One pet store finally got some in and were charging almost $4 per mouse!
Several people on the reptile forums have said the same thing.
Not sure what is going on.

Nah. Mice are everywhere. Just wondering... How do end up with a shortage of MICE? I mean, they breed like lightning. You leave a male alone with a female for a day and the female gets pregnant like 5 times! Okay, an exaggeration, but they do reproduce like super fast.

Switch to frozen/thawed and order them in bulk. Try rodentpro.com. there's never a shortage online!

I live in canada and I know forsure there's no shortage here!(my sister has them in her basement!

Breed your own, and selll them to other reptile owners.
